"Due to a tragic accident Paul Johnson is in the hospital with a broken hip and spine and is now awaiting surgery Tuesday (12/21/10) to have his right leg also amputated. Hopefully after a few months of rehab Paul will want to return to the music industry. - DR. Theodore

Paul was scheduled to headline this wednesday 12.22.10 at SmartBar for 5 Magazine residency, instead of canceling, the people over at 5 Magazine decided to turn the event into a benefit for Paul Johnson. Paul's friends Glenn Underground, Stacy Kidd, Gantman, Eric Martin and Melvin Meeks plus the King of House Music, Farley Jackmaster Funk will be playing alongside residents Rees Urban and Czboogie from 5 Mag. Paul was injured in a tragic accident when he was still a teenager and has been in a wheelchair for most of his adult life, in addition to other health-related issues. But he has been and remains an inspiring figure in the House Music community.
