ARTIST’S STATEMENT
In my eyes, “Motion Makers” are people who make things happen. Their outlet varies whether physical, mental, visual, aural, or otherwise. Through their chosen format they are the world’s movers and shakers as they thrive on progression, new ideas, originality, and creativity.
With the use of a simple in-camera technique that I devised using a single flashing strobelight Motion Makers, as a project, became the exploration of light
and improvised movement of fascinating individuals.
These fascinating individuals were hand-picked by myself for this project. They consist of my friends, colleagues, and local luminaries among others - some of which are performing at the closing reception party again this Friday night!
